About UCAT®

The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a globally recognised, computer-based admissions exam required by leading universities in the UK and several international institutions for entry into Medicine and Dentistry programs. Rather than testing subject knowledge, the UCAT evaluates core cognitive abilities and professional behaviours that are essential for success in medical training. Through its structured sections, the test measures critical thinking, logical problem-solving, numerical reasoning, decision-making under pressure, and situational judgement in real-world clinical scenarios. A strong UCAT score plays a key role in securing interviews and admission offers from competitive medical schools.
