Cultivating Future Teachers

As India enters a new era, the focus intensifies on education and skill development. A pressing challenge is the insufficient training of our educators.
To meet the evolving needs of 21st-century learners, comprehensive upskilling for teachers is imperative. Additionally, there's a noticeable shortage of career counselors and college advisors. Many schools struggle with a lack of counseling staff, often having just one counselor for every 300 to 400 students.

This glaring deficit emphasizes the urgent need for teachers to take on roles as counselors and advisors. Given the scarcity of career guidance, especially when handled by a solitary counselor, teachers must step into these roles.

Envision a future where each high school teacher not only imparts subject knowledge but also serves as a guidance counselor. With daily interactions and a keen understanding of students' strengths, teachers are ideally positioned to provide personalized advice.

Addressing this need, the "Teachers of the Future" community has emerged, comprising over 10,000 high school educators. At "High School Moms and GIDE.AI," we have introduced the 'Classroom to Careers' program. This initiative aims to transform every teacher into a mentor, guiding youth toward meaningful career paths.
